The Nokia 3606 was recently launched at CTIA 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada, offering an affordable, stylish entry to the CDMA market. The 3606 is a small clamshell device with plenty of features, such as a 1.3 megapixel camera and external music playback buttons. Bluetooth 2.0 is also equipped, with A2DP support to allow wireless music enjoyment.

The Nokia 3606 features quad-band CDMA (800/1700/1900/2100MHz), making it one of the first few handsets to support the new AWS frequencies. The 3606 uses Nokia's S40 user interface and will be available in a blue or black color scheme. Nokia is expecting this clamshell to be available in Q3 2008, though pricing is not available.
