Samsung have released a new touchscreen phone that seems strangely familiar. The new Samsung AnyCall Haptic is a sleek looking device with a huge 3.2" touchscreen that features a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio for optimal multimedia viewing. It also features a nifty new user interface as you can see from the pics, but it all looks, well...like an iPhone!

Of course, there are a few extra tweaks added to the mix. The touchscreen, for example, comes with haptic functionality, with the phone vibrating slightly whenever you drag your finger over a button. You also get mobile TV in the form of DMB, as well as bluetooth and an MP3 player, but the camera is only 2 megapixels.

The Samsung haptic, then, is a great looking phone, and is proof, if any were needed, of the influence the iPhone has had on the mobile market. My guess is that soon all phones will have touchscreens, and in a few years' time we'll look back at our current devices and wonder what on earth all the buttons were for!
