Samsung Electronics has launched the i200, a slim bar-type smart phone. With this phone, Samsung aims to attract business professionals who are looking for a 'smart cum stylish' mobile phone.

The i200 supports the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, and Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The phone has an automatic pop-up, which helps users know whenever they get email and always be connected. It is 11.8mm thick, comes with a 2 mega pixels camera, and a 2.3-inches QVGA TFT screen with a glossy coating.

Furthermore, i200 gears up business efficiency through HSDPA 3.6 Mbps data communications. In addition to that, it's unique 'light sensor' can help users minimize the power consumption to adjust lightness of the LCD and keypad automatically.

Samsung officials declined to comment on the India launch of the phone but indications are that the phone will be seen on Indian shelves around July. The company refused to divulge prices as yet.
